I would use it to cut our templates for etching metals and glass. I could use either acids, oxidizers or sand blasting to create the etching effect. This would be a lot of fun to use for this and a whole lot more things too.

For my first project, I would make a monogram for a galvanized wash tub that I will first spray paint. I think it would be great on our hearth to hold wood for the fireplace.
